Between The Sheets with Rocco Raimundo!

In the coming week or so (specific date not confirmed yet), Rocco Raimundo’s ‘Between The Sheets’ 12″ will be released on vinyl by Bristol based boogie masters, Bedmo Disco Records.

“Between The Sheets” is arguably the tache-sporting scalpel fiend’s finest work yet. It features three tried-and-tested jams, all of which are sure to see heavy rotation this summer.

First up is “Steamy Summer Sonnet”, a deliciously long, almost anthemic electrofunk groover that rises and falls, tickles and teases in the midst of a sweaty all night session with one of his many mistresses.

“Ridin High”, meanwhile, offers a relentless, rock-solid disco groove that should be the soundtrack to horizontal mambo sessions all summer long.

Then there’s “Turn Me On”, a squealed cry for sexual thrills cheekily disguised as a low slung midtempo disco-funk slammer. The boy’s got rhythm.

Rocco has also just finished & uploaded the Between The Sheets Promo Mix (Stream/D/L below) which is jam packed, full of bombs and floor fillers to keep your feet moving for an hour or so.

We shall keep you all updated with the specific release date. Make sure you get in quick and grab a copy!!

Rocco will also be ensuring people get their groove on as he’ll be starting to take on DJ gig’s here & there, so keep an eye out!

What You Won’t Do For Love

Ex-Friendly is the alias of U.K all rounder, Justin Turford.

His SoundCloud provides some of the sweetest edits your ears will ever listen to, so make sure you get your follow on, and keep track of Justin’s work!

Below is his stellar edit of the Bobby Caldwell classic ‘What You Won’t Do For Love’. There isnt much third party production, its mainly just nicely re-arranged whilst staying true to the original, which is something that makes edits like this one, that little bit more magic.

Baby, You’re Still The Same

Andres Astorgam, or better known as Trujillo, is the man behind some seriously awesome releases. Both ‘Fruit Punch’ and ‘Baby You’re Still The Same’ had people addicted instantly.

‘Baby You’re Still The Same’ was released by killer label Apersonal Music in October Last year and features remixes by Mark E and Social Disco Club. One of the best combinations on one record we’ve seen for some time. Be careful though, the Social Disco Club is an ultimate floor filler.

I’ll Be Gone

‘I’ll Be Gone’ is a single by dream team duo Mario Basanov and Vidis. These gentlemen are both from Lithuania and are the founders of Silence Music which released this record back in 2009.

This single features impeccable vocals by Jazzu. Residing in the U.K, Jazzu’s vocals on this single just seem right, and are ever so smooth. We don’t have too much info on this brilliant singer, but it looks like shes been working with Silence Music for sometime now, and hopefully this collaboration continues, forever.

John Daly’s remix gives it a slightly deep vibe, but the groove is extremely addictive. Make sure you get your hands on the Pete Herbert edit, its well worth it.
